Deep Cleaning Checklist
A deep clean includes our residential cleaning checklist plus extra attention to buildup, edges, trim, and commonly missed details.
Throughout the home
- Dust accessible surfaces, shelves, furniture, décor, and picture frames
- Dust window sills, ledges, blinds, ceiling fans, and light fixtures
- Spot-clean doors, frames, light switches, and visible marks
- Empty wastebaskets and replace liners when supplied
- Vacuum rugs, carpets, stairs, and upholstered furniture as accessible
- Vacuum and mop hard floors
- Make beds with linens left out by the client
Kitchen
- Clean and sanitize countertops and backsplash
- Clean sink, faucet, and drain area
- Wipe cabinet and drawer fronts
- Clean the exterior of the fridge, dishwasher, oven, and small appliances
- Clean stovetop and exterior of range hood
- Clean inside and outside of microwave
- Wipe tables and chairs
- Vacuum and mop floor
Bathrooms
- Clean and disinfect toilet, including base and surrounding area
- Clean tub, shower walls, shower door, and fixtures
- Clean and sanitize sink, vanity, and backsplash
- Polish mirrors and chrome fixtures
- Wipe cabinet fronts and accessible shelving
- Vacuum and mop floor
Bedrooms & living areas
- Dust furniture, lamps, headboards, and accessible surfaces
- Tidy surfaces and return lightly moved items to their place
- Clean mirrors and other interior glass
- Vacuum under accessible furniture and along edges
- Vacuum and mop floors as appropriate
Deep-clean details
- Hand-wipe baseboards, trim, doors, frames, and reachable wall marks
- Wash window sills, tracks, and interior glass where safely accessible
- Detail blinds, ceiling fans, vents, light fixtures, and switch plates
- Remove heavier buildup from kitchen and bathroom surfaces
- Detail cabinet fronts, handles, appliance exteriors, and range hood
- Vacuum edges, corners, under cushions, and beneath movable light furniture
- Detail stair rails, banisters, and other frequently touched surfaces
